Hertha Catherine (Rempel) Follis was born on May 24, 1933, in Manitou Manitoba. Her parents were Dietrich Rempel and Margaret (Fast) Rempel. Hertha had 7 siblings, George Rempel, Abe Rempel, Ewald Rempel, Edward Rempel, and Clarence Rempel, all now deceased and is survived by Herb Rempel and Verna (Rempel) Woloshen. Hertha is survived by her husband Glenn Follis and her four children, Lori (Follis) Wadsworth (married to Brian Wadsworth), Kim Follis (married to Lori (Campell) Follis, Mike Follis (married to Leslie Bergen) and Steve Follis (married to Heather (McNabb) Follis. She is survived by 6 grandchildren, Kim and Lori’s children Lindsey (Follis) Olmsted (married to Shane Olmsted), Shaina Follis (married to Cameron Parkes) and Jeffrey Follis, Mike and Leslie’s son Simon Follis, and Steve and Heather’s sons Sam Follis and Joel Follis. She is survived by 2 great-grandchildren, Lindsey and Shane’s sons Cade Olmsted and Brady Olmsted.

Hertha was beloved as a sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and in her service to others as a nurse, pastor’s wife and friend. A celebration of life was held on January 7th at the Victoria Church of the Nazarene, in Victoria. She has been interred at the Abbotsford Mennonite Cemetery.
