It is with sadness that we share with you the passing of Pastor E. Howard Quantz on December 6, 2022, at 86 years of age in Calgary. The last of 10 children from a poor farming family in Central Alberta, Howard worked tirelessly to get an education eventually completing seminary at Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City before pastoring at several churches in the United States and Canada.

 

He also completed an MA at the University of Western Michigan and his teacher's certification at the University of Calgary following which he taught high school and was a substitute teacher for many years. He enjoyed teaching and the kids always liked him.

 

He is survived by his wife Lorine Quantz and his son and daughter-in-law and two grandchildren. The family held a small family service on December 9, 2022, at Mountain View Funeral Home, Calgary. Please be in prayer for Lorine Quantz and her family during this time.
