Leadership Conference (NYILC)

The NYI Leadership Conference (NYI LC) is an annual gathering designed for district leaders to get acquainted with the ministries, programs, events, and other leaders in the USA/Canada Region. For more information contact your District NYI President.

Nazarene Youth Conference (NYC)
USA/Canada Region
Nazarene Youth Conference (NYC), an exciting and life-changing event for high school students, occurs just once every four years. The second-largest event sponsored by the Church of the Nazarene, NYC 2026 is open to USA/Canada students entering 9th grade in the fall of 2026 through those just graduated from high school as members of the class of 2026.
All participants and sponsors must contact their District NYC Coordinator for more information.

Global NYI Convention
Global NYI
The Global NYI Convention takes place every four years, preceding the Church of the Nazarene’s General Assembly. Its intention is to gather NYI delegates from around the world to participate in the business necessary in order to advance youth ministry
The 31st Global Assembly will be Summer 2027.
The Journey
Global NYI
No matter where we are in our walk with the lord, we are all on a journey - a journey where we experience god's grace seeking us, saving us, and sanctifying us. In john 14:6, Jesus states, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me."
As NYI, we hope to encourage our youth to discover the ways god has been faithful in their own lives and invite others on this journey of grace found in and through Christ. Furthermore, we never have to journey alone. Though we all come from different cultures, backgrounds, and upbringings, we're all on the same journey to help each other be more Christlike.

Third Wave
Global NYI
Third Wave has been created as a global forum to gather and develop emerging NYI leaders in a global context. As a leadership conference, it primarily consists of worship, fellowship, learning, service, leadership development, connection and prayer. This conference is geared towards emerging youth leaders in the Church of the Nazarene. Unlike other NYI events, this is not an open-registration event. Attendees will be selected by their Field leadership and there are limited spots available per field. The last Third Wave conference (2015) was held in India with 194 participants from 44 countries. Our District Presidents in Canada have agreed that this conference will be open to Ambrose Nazarene students primarily in ministry preparation.
